Hi there,

Can somebody prod me in the right direction, please?

I've created a couple of simple apps with basic interfaces using the Utility template in the SDK.

The interfaces I've implemented are a little boring though - and so I thought I'd try to give these apps a look similar to the Weather app - basically a border with graphic at the top.

Can someone give me a high level overview of how I can achieve this?

For example, is the border with the graphic one large image which the data is overlaid onto?

Or is it drawn using Quartz or similar?

Thanks for any responses!

I think you can do all that using UIImageViews, UILabel and a graphics artist. The background is an image with that border and you place an image at the top of the view that changes according the state, weather, etc.
