How to make Apps Widget-sized?

This may be a silly question but I've been trying to figure out if there is a way to make certain apps widget-sized (Google Home, Reddit, etc) for visual purpose - is this at all possible? Shortcuts wasn't very helpful and neither was Widgetsmith. Thank you!

I don’t believe you can. The most you can do to increase your app icon size is by using the zoomed option under display view.

Try the app Widgy. You’ll have to do it by hand but it would do what you want.
