How to make home screen status bar solid?

I'm wondering how I can make my home screen status bar solid and not transparent. Do I use winterboard or is it something simpler then that? lol thank you so much in advance!

Use WinterBoard. Your best choice is to just use the User Wallpaper feature in WinterBoard.

Pardon the n00b question but how exactly do I set up the user wallpaper through winterboard? I noticed that there was an option to set "solid status bar" I check marked that but saw no change.
