I've found that with the introduction of a flat UI and boarder-less buttons people aren't always sure what is a button. They might not tap on something because they just can't tell its a button. What kinds of things can you use to make sure people will see it's a button?
I'm thinking things like:
This isn't something I normally think about because as a programmer / tech savvy individual I don't have a problem with buttons looking they way they do in a flat UI, but some people do and I don't want to make my apps difficult for them.
What do you guys think?
I'm thinking things like:
- Actionable text. use "Go To Settings" instead of just "Settings"
- Underlines. (people know hyperlinks)
- Different but consistent font for all buttons in the app. Make them all bold for example.
