How to make your 1.1.3 UK iPhone work with other 02 sim cards?

Can someone please advise how I can do this, I have a buyer who is asking how I can do this, the details and a how-to guide if possible. As much info as possible.

I had 1.1.2 when I bought it but it now has 1.1.3 :S
