Hi. I just upgraded from macOS Mojave 10.14 [cMP 4,1] to Monterey 12.2 [Mac mini M1]. In Mojave I mapped the F13-F19 function keys to open various apps, lock the screen, and open Notification Center. Monterey seems to allow mapping of menu functions of apps but not opening apps themselves as stated in this Apple article "You can create keyboard shortcuts only for existing menu commands. You can’t create keyboard shortcuts for general purpose tasks, such as opening an app."

Has anyone found a way to assign a function key to launch an app like Calculator or to initiate the Apple Menu command Lock Screen?
