Hmmm not working for me
It does work but it’s not intuitive. You have to press the icons until they start to wiggle, then with one finger you press and hold on the first app you want to move, and while you keep the first finger pressed you tap the other apps you also want to move with a different finger.

Thank you. I couldn’t get it to work either.

I'd prefer that Apple bought the rights to the jailbreak tweak MultiIconMover and implemented that. It's a breeze to use.
