I know many users are having trouble opening FCPX on Big Sur & on M1 Macs. Run this command. It will open FCPX through Rosetta 2. I'm posting this here so it will hopefully help anyone having trouble.

I use it extensively every day. I haven't had a single problem with it on my M1.
I've had real difficulty getting skimming to work reliably on my M1 MBA. It's enabled but very inconsistent. I didn't do a migration so maybe there's another setting to get skimming to show me clips in my browser, even when I have a project open?
