I have a video (.mov) on my Mac that I would like to be able to view on my iPad. I dragged it into iTunes and it shows up in the "Home Videos" section of my Mac's library.

However, when I Sync my iPad, although iTunes appears to indicate there is a video on my device, I cannot seem to find it anywhere when actually using the iPad. When I open "TV" there's nothing there. Apple Music seems to only be music these days.

Where the hell is this video on my iPad and/or how do I actually get it there? When I search on my iPad using the title of the video I find nothing.

I have the same question.
I just synced my movies using iTunes to my iPad.

The movies are no where to be found on the iPad.
They aren't showing up on the "TV" app either.

But if in settings i go to manage storage, I see "TV" and the movies I just synced.
Yet when I try to open up TV, nothing is there.

Help as well?
Did I not sync correctly or something?

Thanks.

Read it's a bug that needs to be fixed.
Put your iPad into airplane mode.
That was the trick that worked for me.
Videos showed up right away under the TV app.

Hope that helps!

Oh, US only again. Figured it out now. Thanks much for the hint!
If you click on the TV app in upper left is Library. Click on that it says recently added, movies and home videos. They should be under one of those headings. Mine were under Home Videos.

You don't need to switch your ipad or iphone to Airplane mode
I just solve mine....tap on Library drop down menu then select Home videos.
Thank me Later :)

With iOS 11.4 there doesn't seem to be any drop down menu. Cured the issue by going to iTunes, selecting all Home Movies and using get info, switching them to Movies.

I know that what you did would work for me BUT I have so many movies in iTunes it would take ages to find

It's not just called "Videos" instead of "TV"; the functionality is completely different.

And you don't have to find anything. When you go to "Movies" in iTunes, there's your library menu in the left-hand column. It starts with "Recently Added", "Movies", "Genres"; and then there is "Home Videos". This will include any self-produced material imported into iTunes as well as ripped DVDs and such. Just select the ones you want to show up in the "Movie" library instead (all at once), right-click to go to "Get Info", select "Options" in the pop-up menu, and select "Movie" for media kind. Took all of 10 seconds...
