With TV.app any videos you download from YouTube etc end up as Home Videos.

Within TV.app you cannot search for them nor will this application show you video playlists.

So Apple just expects you to search thru a grid of N videos whenever you want to find something.

How are you getting them into TV.app? If you're going through iTunes, meaning you download them on your Mac and then transfer them over to iOs through a cable connected to your iPad, then the key is probably to re-classify then within iTunes first using the Get Info process. I've only done this with ripped DVD movies (which also show up as Home Movies, grr) by changing the type of media file from Home Movie to plain old Movie. With some trickery like this you might be able to assign different Youtube files as episodes of a TV season, or something like that.

I cannot understand why Apple has crippled this so badly. You cannot even find these videos with Spotlight search on the iPad.
