Hi,
I have an iMac, El Capitan system. I configured my Wifi Repeater or Booster and it is visible in my network; however, it is not password protected.

How do I protect the wifi booster with a password?

Thanks

I don't think you need to do anything. The router that drives your wifi network enforces network security, not individual access points.

Not necessarily true. You can configure some repeaters with a different SSID and password.
