Hi guys

I got an original copy of Left 4 Dead 2 via Steam, which I installed on my MBP, and my friend's Windows Vista laptop.

Is there anyway for us to play LAN? Valve doesn't allow 1 copy of the game to be share, so typing console commands doesn't help.

To my knowledge, there's 3rd party software such as Garena,Hamachi and Tunggle which create VPN for users to lan. However these softwares are not Mac-Supportable. So is there any software/method which allow me to play a LAN game with my friend?

Thank you.

Pony up and get another copy!

As far as I'm aware, you can't play online on the same Steam account on two different computers at the same time. You get some kind of message that says that the account you're playing on is in use on another computer.

You're going to need to get another account with another copy of L4D2. Then you can play together.

After you have that, I believe you can type "map [mapnamehere]" and then your friends will be able to see it? I haven't tested that, though.
