General How to prevent a game from trying to force updating?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone has a solution to the following problem; I'm trying to install an earlier version of a game onto my iphone but when I launch the game it says Update is required to continue.

I don't want to download the update, is there a fix for this?

If it's an online only game, it's not possible to bypass the update
