On my old 15" TiBook, I could set the display brightness all the way down to essentially turn the display off, and then I could use my keyspan remote to control iTunes without turning the display back on.
On my 24" Mid-2007 iMac, turning the brightness all the way down doesn't turn off the display. I have a hot corner setup to turn off the display, and I know about Ctrl+Shift+Eject to turn off the display, but operating the remote wakes the display back up.
Is there software out there to ignore keyboard/mouse inputs from waking the machine? I was thinking of something along the lines where a specific keystroke would wake the display, just not ANY input.
Thanks!
