I have only a few audio files on my iPhone and I very rarely listen to them. The Music app on my iPhone is usually closed (= not open in the background). However, often when I either plug a headset into the iPhone or end a phone call by pressing the "End" button on the headset some audio file on my iPhone starts playing "on its own".

The weird thing is that it does not happen always, and I cannot see the pattern behind this annoying (and potentially battery draining) behavior.

Is it possible to prevent this and let audio files only be played when I open the Music app and start an audio file from there manually?

About the headset button, that can happen if you try to end the call after the person on the other end already has. You can disable headset button controls.
