I don't want this to sound like a plug, but I would like some ideas on how to promote my forum, and how I could improve it.

I currently host it at www.TheRandomOne.co.uk, and I just started it a week ago. I'll admit that I am not the best at this, so I would like some feedback on how I can improve the site, and also so I can promote it.

Any ideas?

PS: I started it last week.

Just remember, this is my first real encounter with phpBB, so if you want to give me advice on the design and such, feel free.

I think you need to have a focus. It seems from a quick glance that you don't have a particular topic to center everything around, like Apple for this site. People can talk about anything anywhere...I think you need to find a niche that needs a place where people can talk about a smaller set of subjects.

Ah. Hmm. Not a bad idea actually. I have actually been trying out a geek discussion forum on another domain, but again, I'm having issues getting the word out.

I'll definitely try that though.

Thanks :D.
