How to Properly Delete EVERYTHING From Apple's Mail App?

I've been test driving Apple's native Mail App, in lieu of Gmail offline, though at my behest and am realizing I prefer Gmail offline using Firefox..

Currently, Apple's Mail Aoo has over 3000 of my Gmail messages, with about 500MB's worth of attachments. I'm here wondering and asking, how to (properly) delete my Gmail account from Apple's Mail app, along with all those attachments and emails that downloaded.

And if that doesn't work, you can always manually delete it in Finder by going to Macintosh HD / Users / YOU / Library / Mail / IMAP "gmail.account".

I'm gonna mess around with the native App and see if I like it or if i'll revert back to Gmail offline w/ FireFox
