Beign the portable devil it is, i carry my mba everywhere. Its about a month and a half old and I see a tiny scuff mark on the side of the LCD screen, as if the coating is peeling. How do you guys protect yours from the damages of everyday carrying around?

Describe in more detail "peeling". I only have a zip around sleeve and it protects it just fine.

I would be willing to offer my protective services for your Computer. My fees are $6,000.00 monthly with a two year contract. If anything happens to it while under my protective services, I guarantee you I will replace it for you, as it was the day you bought it, or provide you with the most recent model.

I use Booq Viper hardcase and that goes in my laptop bag. Offers best protection IMO.

A bookbook by 12south- very stealthy and classy. Very good on the road.

I'll opt for skins and a lightweight sleeve, leaving the rest to being careful. Hardshell cases can add at minimum 11oz. to a 13 inch MBA; skins only 1.5 oz.

I realise this is a subjective question, but do you find the BookBook adds much to the total weight? Also do you find it quite a sturdy case? And finally, would you trust that case in a gym bag or backpack full of heavy books?

EDIT: Just seen that the cheapest price for shipping this badboy to the UK is $40! That makes the total cost $120. A bit too much to be spending on a case for me. Looks like I'm going to have to explore other options :-(

The probleme with skins is they only provide protection agaisnt scratches, shells provide a bit more durability. Anyone know if theres a sleeve that can fit a 13 MBA with a shell on it?
