I have a question is there a tweak that would allow me to put my apps wherever I wanted on my homescreen? for example right now they all have to be lined up and there cant be a space in between them. Is there a way to change this?

I would like to take the 3rd row and move them all down to the four row.

Gridlock will do this but it's not compatible with ios6 yet, he is working on updating it.

You could also use Iconoclasm with associated layout maker to make your own layout.

I have never used it but isn't iBlank now iOS6 compatible.

As I understand it you can put invisible icons on your Homescreen.

Perhaps that might work.

These apps are close but IMHO gridlock is the best at doing what the OP wants. I am also waiting on the update on that one.

I agree I want gridlock. But I broke down and got iconoclasm the other day. Aside from my first layout that forced me to a safe mode reboot, I like it.

Don't put icons near the bottom of the layout maker. Even after clearing my dock, I couldn't activate any other apps. If you play with layout maker to put icons in the bottom row first, put settings and cydia in your dock first! :)

I used iBlank

You just have it create the number of icons you need and you place them where you need them.

It's kind of a hassle when you need to move stuff around because you bump the clear icons around too but it serves your purpose, as it did for me

Yup iBlank is one method and can hold most people over until gridlock is updated for iOS6. Technically you can't place icons "anywher" on your screen. You can only place them "anywhere" where icons can normally go. Basically it removes the default mechanism where icons always move to the left and up. Hopefully that makes sense lol

Edit: I personally can't stand using iBlank because of the problem mentioned above me. I prefer gridlock because it doesn't use place holders. Instead it basically just disables the default layout mechanism of automatically placing icons.

i think I'll wait for Gridlock to be updated for iOS 6. Thanks for all the suggestion though guys.
