How to re-order menubar icons???

In Mavericks it was by clicking the menubar icon and the command key simultaneously, and you could re-order the icons, but now that doesn't works...

any tips?

Command + click works for me.

You can only re-arrange OS X icons. Third-party menubar icons like Dropbox just appear in the order they load so you can't move them.

Not an issue for me but it seems strange that command + click/drag only works for OSX icons. You can rearrange the entire dock apart from the finder and trash so why not the menubar too.

In the past I could re-arrange any icon, although I´m not sure if that was because I was using bartender app...

The latest bartender doesn't work in my machine yet, I downloaded the trial version but it says trial expired already... hum... Looking forward for a decent bartender file to work...

Bartender 1.2.24 is working on my setup. Haven't had any issues so far.
