You have to be sick in the head to have the date and time way on the eight corner! especially on an iMac..

It looks ugly and misplaced!....and even worse, with Big sur, it doesn't seem like there's an option to rearrange the icons, to move the date and time to the left a little (in the middle of the Menu icons) like it was for many years

Any idea how to do that?! and who the hell approves such thing?!

The date and time is just where I like it, and if you go to the threads were forumers post their desktops, you'll see that most have it there too.
Who approves it? The company whose product it is.

Date & time has always been in the right corner, from System 1 and forward.

You can move any icons with command + drag, except for datetime and control center.

Date & Time now doubles as the Notification Center and is fixed to the right edge.

The closest workaround would be to change it to the analog clock style and then use a 3rd part app to display the Date & Time elsewhere in the menubar.

Can you please read my post carefully before you reply? yes it was always on the right corner, but it was never on the edge, it looks wrong there, it should be back where it was! (in the right corner but not on the edge, get it?)

The date and time is in the same place as far back as I can remember, since Leopard. Did you try to print yet? Many printers do not work because Apple says the printer people need to write the software, Canon says Apple needs to do it, I have 2 printers that do not function. Lucky for me I installed Big Sur on an external and try to get it to function. I still use Catalina. At 76 years of age I do not have time for bull. Tom

I read your post. No such word "edge" anywhere.

A comparison (10.0 vs. 11.0) gives that it was actually closer to the edge before:

So you can no longer hold Cmd and move the status items around?

In catalina and the before the dates and time was a little to the left. Basically it was in the middle of the Menu Bar, and the spotlight search was in the corner, which made so much sense.

Dude, what are you 10? I don't need to read my own post, I know what I said, and that, in your words, that date and time has been where it is 'for centuries', if you don't like it, chose another OS. If you come to my house, you ain't moving the furniture, deal with it.
