So I can record my iphone screen video but the sound does not work on facetime. I did the usual instructions... settings - control panel - screen recorder- and add it to the control pannel. Long press the record button, turn onthe mic, then record.. When i was recording the screen and watching people's IG stories...the video works. But when I facetimed my friend and talked to them, the sound did not record. Tried twice. Video was fine though

anyone know the fix?

This behaviour is intentional, I reckon. First off, the mic likely cannot be used by two apps (FaceTime and Screen Recorder) at the same time. And second, you'd able able to record other people talking to you without their knowledge, which is a security issue.

That’s actually true… 🤪 And it’s been working like that on Macs for years, as well. Maybe I’m giving Apple too much credit here, and it’s really all about the technical limitations only.

Step 1. Click Region tab at the top and choose a region you want to record. If you want to record screen with audio from microphone or speakers, you can click Options tab at the top, and tick Record audio from microphone or Record audio from speakers.
Step 2. Click the red Recording button to start to record screen and audio on Windows 10.

Is this something that would be an iPhone or connected to it?
