How to recovery files from iphone 3g

Hi:
I have a 1.5 yo macbook and a iphone 3g. My iphone has been synced with the macbook, and contains all the pictures and itune songs that were on the macbook. I had to install a new HD and reload Leopard. My question is: How do I get all the pictures and songs that are on the iphone back onto my Mac?

The pictures were originally stored on the macbook, and then synced to the macbook. When the pictures were synced to the iphone, were they synced with the original file size or were they resized? e.g. a picture that originally was 4MB on the macbook would be what size in the iphone? (same-4MB? less?)

Hmmm, perhaps I am missing something. I installed Senuti and attempted to transfer the music from the Iphone to the mac/itunes, and I get a message, from Senuti, that says (approximately), that in order to use my Iphone, itunes needs to resynch and all information on the iphone will be lost - Do I want to continue?'.....errr, hell no, that is exactly what I don't want to do.

Is there a better program out there that will do this? or, did I miss something?

Are you sure thats a senuti message and not itunes?

You need to grab your music first, then put those files to itunes. Use diskaid to grab the photos, then resync.

I have a similar problem but I want my calendar and contact info synced back to my iMac.

Does Diskaid due contacts and calendar info?
