Hi all,

Just wondering if any of you would know how to mimic this pattern. It seems as if it would be done using a parametric design programme...

It doesn't have to be exactly the same, but a similar pattern would fit into my presentation absolutely perfectly!

Any advice would be great.

Cheers

Using a Google image search, the source of this image can be found to be a customized program, so Adobe products won't help you:

See, here: The Useful Simple Trust is employee-owned

"Thomas Matthews in collaboration with Gennaro Senatore, an EngD research engineer and designer from Expedition who specializes in computational methods, created this beautiful and intricate brand expression pattern for The Forum (University of Exeter). It was created by programming an algorithm to mimic natural forms found in the University’s gardens and arboretum."

The pattern of various sized triangles connected together is called a tessellation so Google search that and you might be able to find some way to do that with some publicly available product, but the multiple lines across each triangle are probably unique to the custom programming.
