My iPhone is currently running on T-Mobile after using Pwnage 2.1.0 for jailbreaking and unlocking. Unfortunately, I need to take it in for repair since I have a huge "dead zone" on my screen. The phone has been previously activated with AT&T and is still covered under warranty.

I know that restoring with the 2.1.0 firmware can un-jailbreak the iPhone. But the real question is will it also relock it so that the Apple Genius cannot tell that it has been previously unlocked. In other words is a simple restore enough or is there another process to relock it? Any ideas?

I read somewhere that to relock an unlocked phone you run bootneuter and turn off all the settings then flash the phone again before restoring. Will that undo the 2.1 unlock? What I need is a "vanilla" iPhone (not jailbreaked and not unlocked) so that no red flags will be raised.
