When I click the home button on a locked screen, what appears to be an Airplay dialogue box is visible, see the attached. When I click what I assume is the AirPlay symbol in that dialogue box, an addition to the dialogue box appears, see the second attachment. I cannot make the dialogue box appear at any other time and cannot find AirPlay in settings. Additionally, my iPad appears to be hotter than normal, as though it is trying to communicate with something.

Can Someone please tell me haw to delete the dialogue box, I have looked in settings and cannot find any reference to AirPlay?

Whatever it was doing, for now, it seems to have suddenly given up the ghost, as I have turned the iPad off and on several times now and the dialogue box has disappeared!
