Forgive me if this was asked already or if Apple has posted an official “how to”. But how do you remove the AirPods from your ear without the tips turning inside out? Macrumors once posted advice on how to remove the AirPods Pro from their case and that was useful information.

They must have an excellent seal. At least you’ve got that going for you. When my Medium tips have a good grip, they sound like they’re going to turn inside out, but they let go just before that point.

When I had the Small tips, they had less of a seal & so would eject without any effort.

So now when I hear the Mediums gripping, i’m glad.

Anyway, have you tried rotating them forward/back as you remove them?

if I remove them carefully, they don’t turn inside out. I have big ears and I use the large tips so they have a great seal which I am grateful for. But I’m wondering if there is some advice on twisting the right way. I often like to quickly take them out and throw them in the case...

Don’t worry, this won’t happen again soon. The tips became slippery in a very short time. Bummer.

Interesting data point. My left one turns inside out and often fails the fit test - which suggests it is looser than the right one.

The right one never fails the fit test (so, tighter fit, yes?) but never turns inside out.

Go figure.

You’re not a freak of nature ?

Plenty of us have one foot, limb, finger, nostril ect. different in length/size/opening to the other.

Although, it’s strange that the one turning inside out is the looser one - that’s the opposite to me.

Anyway, you won’t be the only one to use different sized tips.
