how to remove app suggestions in ios 9

How do I remove app suggestions? When i swipe left from my home screen I see recently used apps, how would I get rid of those apps? I like seeing recent calls etc, but not the apps.

They're all apart of one feature called Siri Suggestions.

Settings > General > Spotlight Search

If you turn off Siri Suggestions, the apps will go away but so will the calls and everything else. You can't only turn off the apps.

Thats not good, wow, it should let you customize it, well I guess I will be turning that function off and never using it.

In Beta 1 ios9 , you could change it where the recent apps dont show, now you cant, Crazy
