Bought an 27" iMac 2020 model over the weekend. However, when reset it and do setup, it shows "Find my" will use the following Apple ID on this device..., just right after creating the new account. So, talk to the seller, he said that is his Apple ID. I ask him to remove it from his iCloud account, he then logged into his account, and found this device is under "Find my" section there, but there is no option there he can remove it. I then power the iMac off, and asked him to check it again, he then said remove option shows up now and he remove it. However, I did the reset process again, but still shows that "linking" message when set it up.
Does any one know the proper way how to remove "Find my" link from some one's Apple ID on iMac?
