So yea I have put the license or whatever you call it on my iphone 6 a month ago.

But I never updated it. So it still promt me in settings to do so.

Is there a way to remove this? Or will I be fine once the public release version is out?

Or am I just forced to update to beta ios 9????

I'm guessing that the GM/final iOS 9 update will uninstall the beta profile.

So you stuck the provisioning profile on you phone, and never actually did it? Your option would be to do a clean restore of iOS 8. But if you've been backing up your phone this whole time it will likely have backed that up too. So, if you have data you needed to keep you will need to take the update to keep it. Still, if you were that concerned you shouldnt have opted into the beta to begin with. But still, at this point you can either take the beta now since its actually quite stable. Or hold off a couple weeks and get the final GM which should solve it.

When the final GM arrives will the beta be replaced automatically with the update? Sorry first time trying this.

Wondering what happens once the public beta expires.

Do I need to delete anything or the automatic update will take care of removing the beta?

- Thank You

On the Mighty Mississippi!
I am still getting the prompt while on the iOS 9 GM. Anyone else still getting this?

I went from PB5 to the GM and can't get rid of the prompt that there is a software update. I restored to the GM IPSW before deleting the beta profile. After deleting the PB3 download and beta profile, and a hard reboot, the prompt was still there. I restored a second time, and the prompt is still there.:(
