For some reason a blue microphone symbol has appeared at the top of the lock screen, I can't remember what I was doing when it appeared, something to do with Siri perhaps ?
I can't get rid of it, but it is obviously using voice to text so that I am am typing something and someone else is speaking that gots in as well!
How to get rid please?

Thanks, I must have done it whilst trying to get Siri to hear me! I will disable it and continue to investigate why Siri appears to be deaf, I have to practically shout with the phone in my mouth to get any response!!

I have cured her deafness, at least for now, basically she had earplugs in😏
I had upgraded my phone from an SE to an SE 2020, mainly because I like the size and it does all I want.
As it fitted the same case I simply transferred it but had not realised that the little cut out for the Lightning port was covering the microphone holes which are just either side in the 2020. I have enlarged the holes and now she works OK.
