How to remove returned AirPods Pro2 from Find my

Returned APP2 and removed form Find my before doing so but they still keep appearing g on Find My despite this How to finally remove as they were returned to Apple and I bought another pair a few weeks later.

Turn off Find My on your devices and items

Turn off Find My on a device to remove it from your Devices list and remove Activation Lock.

Still showing in find my and at iCloud.com as well. Really would like to remove these items I no longer own as I lost one set and returned the other set before buying a third set bball three showing in I cloud find my devices

Yeah, I had that problem. If you go into settings and forget your AirPod Pro them the find my disappears
