I"ve downloaded Safari 10 from the Mac App Store, but have not yet restarted my Mac for it to take effect.

How does one remove this download as I wish to remain on Safari 9.

Its not in the App folder, nor have I found anything in the App Store download folder.

Thanks

You certainly need to delete the Safari one. I am not sure what the other two are. Go into list view and if they have the same creation date as the Safari installer, delete them too. Otherwise leave them.

Curious why you downloaded the update, and yet don't want it?

Is there something about Safari 10 that I haven't heard about yet?

Apologies for the late reply.

Long time user of Safaristand which is not compatible with Safari 10.

I was not aware that it was not compatible when I did the download.

Oh, wow, I forgot all about that program. I used to use it on my old PPC Macs back when Safari was new. If I remember right, I used it to add a "new tab" button before Safari had a way to open a new tab.

Haven't used that program in years.
