I have a Mac Mini 2011 running OS Lion. I ran boot camp and installed windows 7. Then I had change in mind, I uninstalled it. Problem I am having now is when I hold the option key at start up for boot selection windows drive is still there even after uninstalling and formatting the drive. I even tried formatting uninstalling OS Lion. Format my hard drive partitions also. For some crazy reason windows icon is still there.
When I login to windows icon it gives me this error (boot selection failed because a required device is inaccessible). I am trying to figure out how to remove that windows icon from the boot selection.

Did you run disk utility to manage your partitions. You should be able to remove the Windows partition from there and then resize the partition your main boot partition with no ill effects.
