How to reset iCloud settings (not on device but your actual iCloud)

Whenever I restore from iCloud, I have certain settings set up. I now want to reset everything to "factory" settings, for example, I want my Safari to have standard bookmarks that come with a brand new iPhone. Whenever I set up as a new phone, everything is factory fresh but as soon as I log into iCloud, all of my history and bookmarks return.

How do I reset my actual iCloud account to factory settings?

Only way I know how to get things to factory is to restore as NEW and not from a backup.

But that doesn't solve the problem when you log back into your account not? Cuz you need iCloud to restore photos or iTunes music.

iTunes music is not stored in iCloud. Camera roll pictures are backed up. You could easily use google photos to backup your pictures before restoring as NEW.

The iCloud backup of your iPhone (5GB free) does NOT contain music/movies you have purchased through iTunes.
Purchases made through iTunes are stored on Apple's servers separately and can be downloaded any anytime regardless if you have a backup or not through the iTunes App.

I went through an issue with my iCloud account that required escalation to engineering. I initially asked if my iCloud account could be reset or deleted (so I could then create a new one using the same email), but was told that if the account was deleted, I could not sign up using the same email address again. I told them they could just do a full reset on my iCloud account since I had all my data backed up (photos library, safari bookmarks, safari reading list, notes, contacts). Rather than doing that, they ended up doing something to fix my account. It's incredibly difficult and takes a very long time to get iCloud support to help you get anything useful done but if you keep pestering them, it'll get done.

tl;dr: You can't reset an iCloud account to "factory defaults." It'd be easier to just start using a new account all together with a different email address.

This is actually a great point. I'm not sure why you're receiving backlash from this other poster, but this method would be one way to establish a fresh set of iCloud settings while manually syncing your media.

Dude you need to learn how to read. I replied to his comment in Post #3. iCloud backup does NOT backup iTunes Music.

Cuz you need iCloud to restore photos or iTunes music.
