Hi guys
I have installed Yosemite on my main drive no second partion Etc just straight over the top of Maverick, because of a few glitches which I fully understand given it is a beta I would like to remove and go back to original, I have full backups on my back up drive, what is the best way to carry this out, is it a straight forward re-install from back up drive or do I need to do anything to the current installation.

Option key boot to your Time Machine backup and you will get a recovery screen. Fro there use Disk Utility to erase the entire disk to Mac OS Extended. Then quit Disk Util and click restore.
