How to restore using the custom made ipsw?

Option + Click on RESTORE and then choose where your ispw file is.

This may be a dumb question but once i restore to the custom ipsw can i back up to my last sync to get all of my info back?

He can't be on Windows. PwnageTool is only released for Mac.

If you have jailbroken before, all you have to do is restore to the custom firmware and that can be done with iTunes alone.

Yea im on a mac... got it all working now. Only thing is when backed up to my last sync, none of my apps are on the phone any more. Do I have to re-download them all?

Also now that jailbroke, still ok to sync thru itunes daily? TY sorry, but im a noob lol
