I previously owned an iPod Nano. When I shuffled my songs, the Nano would retain my song positioning within the shuffled list even after powering off. In other words, when I turn my Nano back on, I begin listening from the point within my shuffled list where I left off.
I noticed that my new iPod touch (2nd gen, 8GB) will not retain the shuffle order when I power off. I always have to perform a brand new shuffle.
Is there any way to make the iPod touch retain the shuffled order after it's powered off? Seems like a simple thing to be able to retain especially after earlier versions of iPods are able to do this.
