I have just updated my software and Mavericks has been automatically installed, the Safari version is now 6.1.2, it was 6.0.2 a year ago.
How can I revert to the display of bookmarks that existed prior to Mavericks being installed. That is, in a new tab, there was a list of all the bookmarks folders on the left (sidebar) and when you clicked on a folder, ONLY the Bookmarks within that folder were displayed on the right, if you then clicked on a bookmark the whole of the tab displayed the webpage with NO sidebar. Now with Mavericks, clicking on View and Show Sidebar does not display the bookmarks/webpage in that way.
Now, the way in which the Bookmarks are displayed makes manipulation and moving them very difficult.
After my 8 year experience of using a mac, I have come to the conclusion that none of the changes to the way the software is set up has been an improvement!!!
