iOS how to run application in background

Hello all,
can we run application in background?
Even if my application is not running on device i want it to auto launch at some time.
I am not interested to read any comments plizzzzzzzzzz.......

That is not allowed. All apps are quit when the user hits the home button. You are able to this with non App store apps and jailbroken phones but not with the SDK.
