How to save a memo to pc

I once recorded a memo on my workphone ( iPhone ) and
send it to my yahoomail. I need to download it to my
pc, but nothing seems to happen when I click download
and I can’t find it on my pc.
Can anyone help?

Upload it to a cloud based storage.

I should have added: without the use of cloudbased, iTunes etc.
