This sounds stupid.
Before 3D Touch, I can just hold an image, and then there’s an option to save it.
With 3D Touch on my 6S, this option appears when I 3D Touch the image.
But on my mini 2 on iOS 11, if I press and hold an image, now it just follows my finger (like the os thinks I want to drag n drop it somewhere). I cannot imitate the menu to save the image.

Can somebody enlighten me?

Tap and hold on the picture and get the menu to save it

Tap and hold on the image and you get this new easy option.

Thanks.
Looks like I have to tap and hold and NOT MOVE my finger for a bit. Then the option pops up. If I move my finger just a bit, the OS thinks I want to do "drag-n-drop."

Looks like Apple introduced some lag in the touch and hold action. Were people making the menu show up by accident with the old way?
