How to save the installer?

I started downloading ML on my MacBook. I would like to put it on my Mac Mini as well, and I don't want to download twice if I don't have to. When the download is finished, I don't know what options I will have. I hate to cancel it and have to redownload. Can I cancel and I'm sure it will keep the installer on my hdd? What's the best way to save the file before installing and having it get deleted automatically.

Also, I was told by an Apple tech that when using the cloud restore option that the version that gets downloaded from the cloud is actually dependent on the computer, MBP would be a different version of Lion than it would be for a Mac Mini, etc. So should I redownload it anyway? Or put it on a flash drive and install it that way?

The installer is deleted after ML is installed, so do this before you install it on your Mac Mini.

Thanks. My main question though is since I just clicked "install" in the App Store am I able to save the file before actually installing it?

Yeah, don't run the installer. Just let it download.

OK, I just wasnt sure I had the option to just not install, but keep the file. I was afraid if I chose to not install that the file would be deleted. Thanks again.
