I know how search on Messages on iPhone work, you search for a keyword and you get results from multiple conversations.

But how do you restrict your search to only one conversation and get multiple results with the keyword inside just that conversation? When I search for a keyword in Messages and tap one of the results I don't see how I can go to the next or previous result with the keyword on that conversation. Apps like WhatsApp offer simple up/down arrows to go to the other results within the same conversation and you can choose to search within all the conversations or just restrict the search scope within one.

Thank you.

iMessage ain’t BBEdit. That’s all you get.
Thank you. I thought there was a way around this limitation. Several other apps for text communication have offered this simple feature for years though, is not exactly rocket science.
