How to see iMac desktop on TV via wireless?

First post on forum. Forgive me for possibly starting duplicate thread!

Looking to see my iMac desktop on HDTV in another room. Would like to find a wireless solution.

Can anyone recommend good hardware or software solution for this?

I don't think there is a wireless hardware solution. doubt HDMI can be pushed via wireless way too much bandwidth. get out the drill and put a hole in the wall.

Thanks for the reply. I dont need to necessarily send HD signal. Is there a hardware or software solution for any screen resolution?

Wondering if Windows Media Center does this? I have Parallels.

There are plenty of wireless HDMI solutions. They are expensive and they don't really work too great.

The only other option would be do so something like VNC, but then you would have to have some sort of "smart" device, even possibly a full fledged computer on the TV side.
