How to send a video without it clogging up Mssages

So my sister sends like three to four videos a day to my mom of grandkids using the Messages app. My mom won’t delete ANY messages for sentimental reasons (she literally says it hurts her feelings to do so), so now she has messages taking up 12gbs of space on her 32gb iPad. We’re slowly trying to save those videos to Photos since she has the 2TB iCloud plan, but that's a slow process.

Going forward, what’s the best way for my sister to share with her mom all these videos without it clogging up the messages app?

Your sister can create a shared photo album and add your mother. She'll get a notification when new photos / videos are added.

Once you get them all saved you could also just set iMessage to automatically delete messages older than a certain time period (a month for example).
