Why did we need to note that? The beta works the same whether it's pirated or legitimate.

OP: Try swirly. The native function isn't usable until carriers say so.

It is a issue that is being worked by Apple and A&TT. The word is that T was not fully aware. There is a post on the developers fourm about this.

It seems reasonable to think this would be working before the final release so those testing can find any flaws in the process. Hopefully AT&T cooperates sometime soon.
