Hi,

With the previous version of IOS, I would be able to choose to display a video, etc. on Apple TV by swiping up and choosing to send it to Apple TV (Not screen mirroring, although that was an option, too).

Now, with the new update, I can only see how to do the Screen Mirroring via Apple TV. This compresses the screen and won’t take up the whole screen on the TV.

Can you still choose to send a video to Apple TV so it goes full screen without doing screen mirroring? If so, can you describe how?

Thanks!

In control center long press on the music player. On the top right there is an airplay button. Click this and then select your Apple TV

wow remember when iOS was intuitive?
I don’t know, it makes perfect sense to me. The media player should be the place where you select the source. You can still just click the airplay button at the bottom of the screen when watching a video in full screen
