The best solution, adding a menu item to search with Chrome, is shown here at the Stack Overflow website. It's very easy to do.

Fishrrman macrumors Nehalem Feb 20, 2009 30,073 14,180 Aug 1, 2017 #4 There's a very handy preference pane to set default apps named (appropriately) "RCDefaultApp": http://www.rubicode.com/Software/RCDefaultApp/ It's old, but still working fine with El Capitan. Probably works in Sierra as well. Free, and worth trying.
