My new macbook pro has been having a huge problem ripping dvds. Yade x comes up with an error every time that the dvd drive's region is possibly not set. Does anyone know how to do this?

how to set DVD region?

Weird. It shouldn't need to be 'set' per se. Try playing the disc in DVD Player before ripping it. You don't have to play it all the way through, just get it started.
